ummm, I think he was the singer for the Beatles, right?

Please save my faith in humanity...I'm looking for some short notes regarding the influence that John Lennon had on your life. What are your favorite statements that John made during his efforts to bring peace around the world. I have been doing a little polling of people under the age of 18 and the answers I have been getting are not making me feel all warm and fuzzy. I know peace is on their minds, I can feel the pendulum swinging back too the left (just in time). They get that Bush and his ultra-conservative friends are not helping. We need your help, please let us know what’s on your mind, universities are ripe to spread a message of peace, it’s just a matter of getting the message across in a language they understand. Help us translate the work of John and Yoko to the college campuses of today. SPREAD THE WORD!!! Stop Chapter 27 and Peace Arch Entertainment. Spread peace around the world. You can make a difference.

Great Poem...found on www.bagism.com

The Day A Hero Died
by Laraine Colwell

On December 8, 1980,A hero died.
A senseless and vicious death,
And many of his followers cried.

December 8, 1980,
Was the day the music really died.
The music that stood for love and peace,
All of that died.

All he wanted,Was love and peace.
Did all of this,
Really have to cease?

Why did John Lennon have to die,
In such a horrible way?
A true hero and peace maker,
Lost in such a vicious way.

NICE WORK !!!
