Capitalism does not do right and wrong

Let me start off by telling all of our new members and repeat visitors that the technical problems we were having seem to be resolved. Your posts will now be posted to the blog.
Now, back to the topic at hand. We have gotten various emails and responses on message boards claiming that we are not capitalists, because the free market should decide the success or failure of the disgrace called Chapter 27. If it a good movie, it will succeed and our boycott will only draw attention to peace arch entertainment and their film....Allow me to retort.
Speaking for myself and the close members contributing to the cause (that I know personally), we are absolutely Capitalists and patriotic Americans. We are managers for Fortune 500 companies, self employed Webmaster, and successful attorneys. The difference between our members and Peace Arch management is that we have made a conscious decision to draw a line between earning a living in a capitalist society and exploiting one of the true disasters of the 20th century.
Corporations are recognized entities, with the rights of citizens, but have no purpose other than to earn a profit. In our estimation this notion can coexist in a descent, caring society. Peace Arch on the other hand, obviously puts the dollar (or Canadian dollar) before all else. This is what we find so incredibly despicable. We ask all who read this, to consider, what makes us human and why even true capitalists must live each day with a purpose, beyond making a buck. What if the efforts of Lindsey Lohan and Jared Lito, along with the millions that went in to filming in front of Yokos' home (the Dakota, where John was killed) had been put in to a worthwhile effort, rather than trying to earn money attempting to entertain with their rendition of a senseless murder.
How much profit will Peace Arch put towards a just cause? What is their track record of corporate responsibility and charitable donations? Do they have a heart, have their children fought in war? Do they care about peace, or anything for that matter?
We await their response and welcome your comments. We also appreciate all of those that have placed links on their sites to further our cause.
Thanks,

You do realize that Blogger is an evil capitalist organization don't you? In fact, almost every company you deal with on a daily basis is a capitalist type entity. Greedy people!
Thanks for the comment, but understand we have NO problem with capitalism. Actually, we love it, no better system in the world. The question is..."is there a limit", true capitalism would call for all drugs to be legal, assuming that if people overdose and die, they will no longer consume. Is this a great idea? Is there a limit to what is morally right in order to achieve a profit?
Thanks,
Howard
