Sample of Boycott Chapter 27 petition comments

Below is very small sample of some recent, well spoken comments regarding Chapter 27 by some of the most recent signers of our petition. As always we would like to thank the supporters of Boycott Chapter 27.org.

2442. jef michael piehler burbank, ca when i first heard about "chapter 27" i honestly got sick to my stomache. the thought of this film being made leaves me numb & outraged at the same time. the incensitivity of the filmmakers as they desperately lunge at fame & fortune shows us, once again, how little humanity is left in this wretched world.

2441. Lena Jasiak Australia “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke

2440. Elaine A Guerin N. Fort Myers Florida Money made in this fashion glorifies the spilt blood of Peace Makers-allows the minds of the lost souls to choose the pain of others as a way to demand recognition. Peace be with you-ink

2439. Brianna White Toms River, New Jersey This is absolutely rediculous, John Lennon did not do anything to deserve his horrible fate, and the fact that this man is going to make any amount of money off it is disgusting. I think it is a horrible way to be showing John, they should focus on his life story, not his killer. All he wanted was peace on earth, and all his killer wanted was attention and 15 minutes of fame. I refuse to see this film, you should too.

2430. Tracy Carnahan Algonac, MI I am disgusted by the idea of giving Chapman the self gratification that he has always sought. Aside from that, there is always some idiot out there who will try to live the part for themselves. If Chapman is glorified as such, it will inspire someone else to try to emmulate his actions.

2429. Andrea Patehviri Brampton, Ontario This is disgusting, is this really what entertainment has come to? Murder shouldn't be the road to fame. Don't watch this movie.

2420. Ashley Michigan Don’t let this disrespectful film put a spotlight on a murderer

2418. Levi Wallner Palmer, AK This movie is an absolute DISGRACE to anyone who has ever heard a whisper of John Lennon's name. You don't just kill John Lennon and then make people feel sorry for you. Look at it this way, if we start to feel sorry for Mark Chapman, then what about every other murderer sitting in jail? Should we feel sorry for them too? The answer is NO, we cannot. Mark Chapman should not be pitied.

2416. Adell Diaz Del Rio, Texas The thought makes me sick to my stomach. The world has enough filth. Even my young children (3rd generation beatle fans) know exploiting his death is disgraceful. Forever Loved, John Lennon

Keep the pressure on Peace Arch Entertainment, as long as they continue to shop Chapter 27 to distributors, they are doomed to FAIL!!! INSTANT KARMA!!!

As a fan of the Beatles, I truly understand the great loss of John Lennon. However, isn't it a little silly to put so much time and energy into boycotting an independent film? It's just a movie. People have the right to view it if they so choose to. Why don't you guys do something more worthwhile with your time like raising money for AIDS research? AIDS has killed many more people than Mark David Chapman.
