Howard Stern co-host Artie Lange admits to battle with Heroin Addiction

(Miami, Fl)- Artie Lange comic genius, movie star, and Howard Stern Show co-host admitted today to his battle with Herion addiction. Speaking on the Stern Show (9/21/06) Artie said that leading up to his work on current release Artie Langes' - Beer League, he was using Heroin regularly and had taken some time off from the Howard Stern Show to go to rehab and get cleaned up.
On the Stern Fan Network, staff member Joey Boots Posted " from february to june artie was doing heroin......cleaned himself up for the movie and realized he was addicted......when he was out from THE SHOW he was detoxing off heroin........damn artie you gotta stay away from all that shit including alcohol"
For years fans have been predicting an early demise for the near 300 pound funny man, comparing him to the likes of John Belushi, Sam Kinison, and Chris Farley. All comic greats killed prematurely by a combination of Drugs, Alchohol, and Devil Dogs.
