Howard Stern, Sirius, and Citadel (free radio) will be huge for SIRI

MIAMI (BoycottChapter27.org) -- AMAZEMENT and amusement is what I see, reading the stories about how Howard Sterns return to free radio is a negative for Sirius Satellite. Ohhh, how we underestimate Howard Stern (as just an entertainer) and Mel Karmazin (as a renegade radio sales executive), these are business leaders who will be remembered for building an entertainment empire.
Prediction: Howard continues to bash free radio, Sirius buys stations on the cheap (they are already being dumped), Listeners are given an hour Howard "tease" daily(will not be live, or the same show as the Sirius morning program), while being offered Sirius 2 times an hour all day long. Mr. Karmazin will build this company to rival Disney and Viacom before he is Sumner Redstones age.
The Stern show and company will receive ownership stakes in the new entertainment company(spoken about lack of ownership with prior employer on recent shows), which will become an entertainment giant in the next 10 years.


NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Shares of Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI :
sirius satellite radio inc com SIRI were off 1.5% to $4.05 in Nasdaq pre-market action following a report that a deal may be in the works to allow shock jock Howard Stern, the company's main on-air personality, to return to free radio in some capacity. The New York Post, citing industry tradesheet Inside Radio, said Stern could return through a deal between Sirius and Citadel Broadcasting (CDL :citadel broadcasting corp com), which is in the process of buying certain radio assets from Walt Disney (DIS : Walt Disney Company). The Post mentioned New York stations WPLJ and WABC as possible venues for Stern.

Are we to believe that radio executives are not scared of this team, I am not a shareholder in Sirius, at the time of writing this article.
Howard Stern will in the process have the top comedian and movie leading man as his co-host in Artie Lange.
This is all part of a plan that Howard and Mel have been hatching for years.
