Post from Don Murphy's message board...Boycott Chapter 27

This is a post from Don Murphy's message board that he has written regarding Chapter 27 and his boycott not only of the film, but he also refused an invitation to Sundance. Amongst many other credits Don produced "Natural Born Killers" (AWESOME FLICK!!)

I'm Still Not going to Sundance
And I hope all Hollywood executives who choose not to go manage to avoid going because of the screening of CHAPTER 27.

As I said earlier, it is okay to make it, is okay to screen it, and it is okay to say YOU SUCK for promoting a killer who killed for fame.

It seems very hard to make the point clear to internet people. For example I just found this

I am sure that this Means guys is a nice guy and even pays his tithe willingly. But what is so hard Mr. Means?- even if the film is better than CITIZEN KANE, the people involved in it should burn in hell for giving a fame-seeking killer the fame he sought. It is easy to understand. Quality is not my point here. The existence of this film is.

I am told that the losers at Peace Arch screened the film, unplanned at AFM in November and got NO TAKERS.

Hopefully it will stay that way.

I know of two of the major indie distributors who have repeatedly passed on the movie because they are offended by what the writer/director has done. They both told me this personally.

I am not naming him because he should never be allowed near a camera again, and I will do what I can to make sure of it.

There is even a blog fighting this movie... who knew? And Fox News has been after it long before me.

All right thinking people should be offended and Boycott not only Sundance but any one promoting this film. This is my opinion.
